Bernard Porter

Bernard Porter is a distinguished figure in the entertainment industry, boasting over three decades of experience in various facets of the business. As the Chairman of PCG Music Group and the owner and caretaker of the Porterhouse1833 Historical Landmark, Porter's expertise spans from artist and repertoire (A&R) to business entrepreneurship. His A&R acumen is nationally acknowledged, and his career is marked by the successful development and execution of high-profile joint ventures in both the corporate and private sectors.

Porter's extensive experience includes guiding entities through all stages of creative media, production, marketing, and national product launches. His consultancy services have benefited numerous record labels, broadband networks, major artists, large corporations, state tourism boards, and specialty venues, including the Mall of America in Minneapolis, Simon Mall properties, Dave & Busters, and Marriott Hotels.

Porter's industry insights have been showcased on NBC's Emmy Award-winning reality daytime series "Starting Over," where he appeared as an entertainment expert in multiple episodes. He was also a co-founding partner of the Consortium, a top-tier artist management firm, alongside Stan Moress, Mike Martinovich, and Al Schiltz. This partnership played a crucial role in launching Broken Bow Records and its imprint label, BBR/C4- Sony Red distribution. As the director of A&R, Porter was instrumental in signing superstar Jason Aldean.

Currently, Porter serves as the Chairman and CEO of PCG Universal, a conglomerate that includes a record label, management company, artist development company, theatrical development company, digital media company, and an online education company. These entities provide tailored programs to private and institutional clients.
